Connect Your Website

Before SEOmatic can publish pages to your website, you need to connect it to the platform your site runs on (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.). This gives SEOmatic the ability to publish pages to your site later - when you're ready.
What you'll need
To connect, you'll typically need two things:
Your website URL - the address people visit (e.g., https://yourcompany.com)
An API key or credentials - this is what lets SEOmatic securely access your site. Each platform calls it something different (API key, application password, access token, etc.)
Not sure where to find your API key? Don't worry - we have a step-by-step guide for each platform that shows you exactly where to go and what to copy. See the list below.

Each CMS has a different setup process. Pick yours for detailed instructions:

How do I know it worked?
You'll see a green dot next to your workspace name in the sidebar. That means SEOmatic is connected to your site and you're ready to go.
